🦇 Fujifilm Xf 50Mm F 2 R Wr Lens Review
Product description. The Fujifilm XF 50mm f/2 R WR Lens (Black) is a mid-telephoto lens with a focal length equivalent to 76mm* that delivers the very best results from Fujifilm's unique X-Trans CMOS sensor. Its compact and lightweight design features 9 elements in 7 groups, including one aspherical ED lens, and has an inner focusing system
The focal length of 35mm means this lens is roughly equivalent to a 53mm lens on a full frame camera, so it’s a whisker longer than the classic ‘nifty fifty’ but not by enough to notice. Fujifilm’s other f/2 lenses include a 23mm f/2 (35mm equivalent) and a 50mm f/2 (75mm equivalent), both barely larger than this one and about the same
The weather sealed metal body of the Fujifilm XF 35mm f/2 houses 9 optical elements in 6 groups, and has 9 rounded diaphragm blades that produce a very pleasing bokeh. The maximum aperture of the lens is f/2 which is fast, but not quite as fast as I’d like. The speed of the Fuji 35mm f1.4 in certain shooting situations would be much nicer.
Product description. The Fujifilm XF 50mm F1.0 R WR is an ultra-fast standard prime for the company's X-mount (it's equivalent to 75mm on an X-mount body). The fast aperture allows for the most control over depth-of-field of any X-mount lens, and will also draw in more light when shooting at night or indoors.
Fujifilm 50mm f/2 Features. Unique X-Trans CMOS sensor optimization for unparalleled image quality. Focal length equivalent to 76mm in 35mm format. Maximum aperture of F2.0 ensuring radiant bokeh. High-speed autofocus (AF) for precision in fleeting moments. Lightweight at just 7 oz (200g) for portable convenience.
The Fujifilm XF 33mm F1.4 R LM WR is a fast standard prime lens that's equivalent to 50mm when mounted on an X-series body. It features 15 elements, including both aspherical and 'ED" elements. Its linear motor drives the focus group quickly and quietly. The lens has a minimum focus distance of 30cm (11.8") and a max magnification of 0.15x.
The lens is able to isolate subjects for portraiture at 55mm, and while it's not on par with a lens like the Fujinon XF 56mm f/1.2 R, it's a great replacement in a pinch. Below you can see sample photos taken with the Fujinon XF 16-55mm f/2.8 R LM WR mounted on a Fujifilm X-T1. Click the link below each photo to download the full-resolution image.
The XF 50-140mm f/2.8 is the Fuji equivalent of the professional 70-200mm f/2.8 zoom and carries an impressive feature set for professional use, including: Five extra-low dispersion elements and
In addition to the XF 16mm f2.8 R WR lens being sharp, color rendering is great, there’s decent contrast, and nice clarity. Pictures have really nice “pop” to them. Even vignetting is well-controlled at f2.8. Stopping down to f5.6 makes it disappear completely.
